When news of a potential teacher walk-out first was announced, the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma’s (BGCO) state disaster relief director Don Williams worked with Baptist leaders to identify possible avenues in which Baptists could help children and families.
Numerous BGCO-affiliated churches have offered ministry services, meals, childcare and more.
The BGCO’s Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief (DR) has asked Baptist associations across the state which have a DR feeding unit, capable of preparing and providing hot meals, to identify local needs.
